Wind turbines need to track the best power point to generate maximum energy, but current methods struggle with changing wind speeds. By combining a predictive control technique with the traditional method, researchers improved the tracking performance of wind energy systems. This new approach predicts control variables ahead of time and adjusts settings to optimize power generation. The study showed that this method outperformed the standard technique in capturing power from varying wind speeds.
