Optimizing Seed and Nitrogen Boosts Wheat Yields in Ethiopian Agriculture.
A study in Ethiopia looked at how different amounts of nitrogen fertilizer and seed rates affect the growth and yield of wheat. They tested five levels of nitrogen and four seed rates in a field experiment. The results showed that both nitrogen and seed rates influenced factors like leaf area, number of spikes, grain yield, and more. The best grain and straw yields were seen with 92kg N/ha and 125kg/ha seed rate, and the lowest yields were with no nitrogen and 75kg/ha seed rate.
