The study compared different methods for calculating cooling loads in buildings to see which one is more energy-efficient. They used a special mathematical technique called Complex Finite Fourier Transform Technique to analyze the data. The results showed that the calculated values were similar to the ones in the ASHRAE Handbook for certain types of building envelopes, but there were some differences in the cooling load values.
