Sociology education in Kurdish universities fails to reflect Kurdish society.
The article looks at how sociology is taught in Kurdish universities and if it reflects Kurdish society. Professors and students were interviewed to see how well the subject connects to real-life issues in Kurdistan. The study found that sociology courses don't focus enough on Kurdish society, culture, and politics. Assignments are traditional, and fieldwork isn't well-organized. While research projects cover important social issues in Kurdistan, they aren't always used effectively in teaching.
