Remittance income fuels economic growth in Nepal, study finds.
The study looked at how money sent by people working abroad affects Nepal's economy. They wanted to see if this money helps the country grow and how much of it comes in each year. By analyzing data from 1990 to 2016, they found that remittances do have a positive impact on Nepal's GDP growth. This means that the money sent back home by Nepalese working abroad helps the country's economy to grow.
