The article analyzes how different types of racism affect characters in a novel called Down Second Avenue. The researchers looked at institutionalized racism, internalized racism, and intra-racial racism. They found that characters in the novel suffered the most from institutionalized racism, followed by internalized racism and intra-racial racism. This study can help us understand how racism is portrayed in literature and media.
