The study looked at how to manage waste in Trabzon and Rize cities in Turkey. They found that most of the waste in Rize is organic, while Trabzon has more recyclable waste. They also found that the moisture content in the waste is high, and the energy value is moderate. By using different methods like reuse and recycling, they can reduce the amount of waste that needs to be thrown away in landfills.
