They found that using audit outsourcing, electronic auditing, proper audit reporting, and having a diverse audit committee all positively impact the company's financial performance. Audit outsourcing helps in getting reliable financial information, electronic auditing helps in detecting financial scams quickly, and diverse audit committees prevent fraud. The study suggests that companies should use these practices to improve their financial performance.
