New Study Reveals Diverse Benthic Macroinvertebrates Fauna at Mt. Chilbo
Researchers studied the benthic macroinvertebrates at Mt. Chilbo in Korea from June to October 2019. They looked at 39 species from 4 phyla, with insects like mayflies and dragonflies being the most common. The dominant species found were Chironomidae and Physa acuta. The study also measured diversity and richness of the species in the area.
