The goal of the study was to see if the stock market and real estate market in Poland are connected. The researchers used a method called co-integration analysis to test this. They found that out of 36 cases studied, there was a connection between the stock market index and the average price of homes in seven Polish cities. This shows that methods used for the stock market can also be useful for understanding the real estate market.
