To make Ukrainian potato production competitive on Western markets, researchers analyzed potato harvesting technologies and machines. They compared different methods and developed a model to improve the harvesting process. Factors like crop growth conditions and technical resources influence the choice between using a digger, digger-loader, or combine harvester. The model considers factors like crop quality, storage duration, labor availability, transportation, and equipment for sorting and cleaning potatoes. The study aims to enhance potato harvesting efficiency and quality.
