Safety-critical software systems in cars, planes, and hospitals need to be super safe. But making them safe can sometimes make them slow or less secure. This can be a big problem in emergencies. The goal of this study was to find a way to balance safety, security, and speed in these systems. The researchers came up with a method to figure out the best solution that keeps people safe without sacrificing security or speed. They also looked at how changes in the system can affect safety.
