This article discusses how urban areas can be improved through intelligent urban planning and urban renewal, focusing on the Basaksehir Municipality model. The researchers used interviews and questionnaires to evaluate urban transformation projects in the USA and applied intelligent urbanism principles to Basaksehir's projects. The study emphasizes the importance of sustainable development, reducing urban sprawl, and implementing intelligent urban planning practices in Turkey. The findings highlight the effectiveness of intelligent urbanism in transforming urban areas for the better.
