Exports drive agricultural production in Poland, shaping economic policy priorities.
The research looked at how agricultural production in Poland and exports of agri-food goods are connected. They used data from 1991 to 2013 and a method called vector autoregression. The results showed that agricultural production in Poland is influenced by both its own trends and exports. On the other hand, agri-food exports are mainly affected by their own development. This means that in the model, exports are more important.
