Organizational culture and communication skills impact employee behavior in hospitality industry.
The study looked at how the culture and communication within a company affect employees' behavior. They found that a positive company culture and good communication skills lead to stronger commitment from employees. This commitment, in turn, influences employees' willingness to go above and beyond in their job, known as Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB). However, the study also showed that communication skills alone did not directly support OCB. The researchers used a survey method with 237 employees from a hospitality company and analyzed the data using a software called AMOS. The results suggest that a positive company culture and effective communication can enhance employees' commitment and ultimately impact their behavior at work.
