The article explores how RFID technology can help reduce supply chain issues in the automotive industry. By increasing visibility and information sharing, RFID can lessen the Bullwhip Effect, a common problem in the industry. Through data analysis and interviews, it was found that RFID technology, when combined with information sharing, can decrease the Bullwhip Effect by enhancing chain visibility and transparency. This shows that RFID has the potential to improve supply chain efficiency in the automotive industry.
