Urban Poor Health Inequalities Exacerbated by Rapid Urbanization in India
The article reviews the health of urban poor people and the inequalities they face in accessing healthcare. Urbanization and poverty are increasing in India, making it challenging to provide healthcare to those in need. Despite government efforts, health disparities persist, creating divides between rural and urban areas, as well as between the rich and the urban poor. The research aims to understand the health issues of urban poor, identify reasons for health inequalities, and suggest ways to improve healthcare delivery for better health outcomes.
