Climate change is causing severe impacts on forests in Iran, according to a survey of 315 environmental experts and activists. Over 90% of participants recognized significant climate changes in recent years, with the Zagros and northern forests being the most affected. Current forest management practices were deemed inadequate by all participants. To mitigate these impacts, it is crucial to prioritize adaptive management strategies in these regions.
