A new method called the template construction method (TCM) was used to build a tailings dam at a Copper Mine in China. This method is simple, cost-effective, and allows for quick construction of the dam. By 2015, the dam wall had reached 95 meters in height, with a total height of 128 meters. This shows that the TCM is a successful way to build tall tailings dams efficiently.
