The article looks at how changes in EU agricultural policy affect payments to farmers in Slovenia. By analyzing different scenarios, the researchers found that introducing a new payment system would reduce funds for 22% of farms, mainly in beef and milk sectors. Slovenia chose a hybrid system to minimize negative impacts on farmers.
