This paper looks at how energy is used in factories in India and how it can be used more efficiently. They used a method that breaks down energy use into different parts to figure out where energy can be saved. They discovered that changes in energy use weren't really caused by changes in how the factories are set up. Instead, most of the changes in energy use came from using less energy in each part of the factories.
