The researchers wanted to find a way to improve the growth of bitter gourd seeds for better plant growth. They tested different plant powders and found that arappu and pungam were the best at helping the seeds grow. By coating the seeds with these powders, they were able to increase the chances of the seeds sprouting and growing well. Arappu-coated seeds had the highest germination rate at 73%.
