Neuroticism, extraversion, and conscientiousness predict hedonistic lifestyle choices in students
The study looked at how different personality traits like being organized, outgoing, or anxious can predict if someone leads a hedonistic lifestyle. They surveyed 256 college students in Indonesia and found that being organized (conscientiousness) was the most linked to a hedonistic lifestyle, followed by being outgoing (extraversion) and anxious (neuroticism). Being open to new experiences or being agreeable didn't seem to affect this lifestyle. Women tended to have a higher hedonistic lifestyle, anxiety, and agreeableness, while men were more organized.
