Optimal Seed Rate and Irrigation Strategy Boost Wheat Productivity in Ethiopia.
The study looked at how different amounts of seeds and watering schedules affect the yield of wheat in Ethiopia. They found that using 100 kg of seeds per hectare and watering every 8 to 11 days gave the best results, with the highest grain and biomass yields. This combination also resulted in the highest profit for farmers. So, for growing wheat in this area, using 100 kg of seeds and watering every 8 to 11 days can help increase productivity.
