Seasonality studies in archaeology look at how seasons affect ancient sites. Different methods are used to estimate seasonality, but there is no widely accepted reason for why these studies are important. The success of these methods varies, and there is still more to explore. The chapter reviews these methods and suggests a way to combine their results.
