New method for multiple testing improves accuracy and reduces errors.
The article introduces a new method for testing multiple hypotheses, aiming to control the rate of false discoveries. This method scans intervals in a range of values, selects the longest interval with an acceptable false discovery rate, and rejects hypotheses falling within that interval. Compared to the traditional Benjamini-Hochberg method, this new approach shows promise in controlling false discoveries, especially in certain types of models.
