Farmers Boost Crop Yields and Sweetness with Recycled Tea and Rice Waste
A study looked at using rice straw compost and compost tea to grow strawberries and tomatoes. For strawberries, using 80% compost in the soil gave the best results, with higher fruit yield and sweetness. For tomatoes, combining compost and compost tea at 100% concentration led to the highest yield. The research shows that using rice straw compost and compost tea can improve the yield and quality of strawberries and tomatoes.
