The study looked at different ways of farming wheat to see which method was most productive and profitable. They tested traditional plowing methods against newer conservation techniques that use less disturbance to the soil. The results showed that the conservation methods with crop residues produced higher yields and profits compared to traditional methods. Adding extra nitrogen fertilizer also increased wheat yield, especially when combined with conservation practices. Overall, using conservation agriculture with crop residues and a bit more nitrogen can help farmers grow more wheat and make more money in the long run.
