Language proficiency impacts word association behavior in Jordanian EFL learners
The study looked at how well Jordanian students learning English associate words based on their language skills. They tested 60 students at different English levels with a word association test. The results showed that students mostly used a certain type of word association technique. Also, students' English proficiency had some impact on how they associated words. This supports the idea that non-native English speakers may use different word association methods.
