Information technology has allowed supply chain members to share real-time data, improving collaboration. A study in India looks at how electronic supply chain management (e-SCM) affects supply chain performance. By analyzing 293 respondents from pharmaceutical units and pharmacies, researchers found that using e-SCM leads to better integration among supply chain partners. This integration, in turn, boosts overall supply chain performance. Sharing information also plays a key role in enhancing collaboration among supply chain members, leading to improved performance.
