The study looked at how to make ports in Busan and Gwangyang more competitive. They found that companies in Busan care most about rent, port location, and saving money on logistics. In Gwangyang, companies focus on rent, size of the port area, and free trade zone size. Both places value port location and rent when moving in, and are happy with port location, customs clearance, and administrative ease once settled. However, they need help with rent and finding skilled workers.
