Directly seeding rice with a mix of farmyard manure, vermicompost, and brown manure led to taller plants, more panicles, and higher grain yield. This method was just as effective as spraying zinc and iron on the leaves. Spraying iron and zinc on the leaves worked better than putting them in the soil.
