A new type of cooling system was designed that combines absorption and compression technologies to improve efficiency and flexibility. By adding a mechanical compressor to a traditional absorption chiller, the system can operate more effectively at different temperatures and loads. The design changes made to the evaporator and absorber helped prevent pressure drops and liquid buildup, leading to better performance. Tests showed that this hybrid system has the potential to be more efficient and versatile than traditional absorption chillers.
