This paper describes a method for designing a real-time database in a small satellite testing system. The goal is to make it easier to access and move data within the database. The researchers used a SQL Server relational database and techniques like JSON serialization and SqlBulkCopy to efficiently import telemetry data in batches. This approach allows for real-time storage of telemetry data and the creation of a functional real-time database.
