IFRS compliance boosts financial reporting quality for non-financial firms on GSE.
The article examines how following international financial reporting standards, corporate governance practices, and financial reporting quality are related for non-financial companies listed on the Ghana Stock Exchange. The researchers used mathematical formulas to analyze the data. The study found that firms that comply with these standards tend to have better financial reporting quality. This suggests that adopting international standards and good corporate governance can improve the accuracy and transparency of financial reporting for non-financial companies on the Ghana Stock Exchange.
