Pilates Beats Core Training for Stronger Muscles and Better Posture
The study looked at how different types of exercise affect core and perineal muscles in women. They tested 34 women in three groups: sedentary workers who did core training, Pilates practitioners, and inactive students. After 7 months, the core training group had stronger core muscles, while the Pilates group had the best results for perineal muscles. Pilates was found to be effective for improving overall muscle strength, while core training was good for body muscles but not as effective for perineal muscles.
