The research focused on improving the quality of auditor work in public finance management in Kosovo. The study used qualitative data and STATA to confirm the hypothesis. The goal was to strengthen the audit role in the public sector to combat abuse, theft, and corruption. The findings emphasized the importance of competent and ethical employees and managers in maintaining a reliable control system. The study involved 50 auditors from various public institutions.
