Students Embrace Crop Modeling as Key to Understanding Crop Production Factors.
A study at the University of Georgia used a computer crop model to teach students about peanut production. The goal was to see if students found the model helpful in understanding crop factors. Almost all students said the model helped them grasp crop production factors. Most students said they would use the model if they were peanut farmers. Many students wanted more crop modeling exercises in future labs. Overall, students found crop modeling to be a useful tool for learning about crop production.
