Arthritis Breakthrough: Extract Reduces Inflammation-Causing Proteins, Offering Hope for Millions
In this study, researchers investigated the effects of a plant extract called sinomenine on arthritis in rats. They wanted to see if sinomenine could reduce the levels of certain proteins related to inflammation in the rats' bodies. The researchers tested sinomenine in different doses on rats with arthritis and found that the higher the dose of the extract, the more the levels of these inflammation-related proteins decreased in the rats' blood. Additionally, they observed improvements in the symptoms of arthritis and joint damage in the rats that received sinomenine compared to those that did not. This suggests that sinomenine may have potential as a treatment for arthritis by reducing inflammation in the body.
