Dirty air worsens in dry seasons, threatening public health
Air pollution levels in Kano were studied in dry and wet seasons in 2018. The researchers measured NO2, PM10, SO2, H2S, and CO levels in different areas. They found that Bompai and Sabon Gari had the highest pollution levels. The pollutants were lower when it rained more, was colder, and more humid. This shows that weather affects air quality.
