The study looked at how a drug called ambroxol hydrochloride affects lung injury in rats poisoned with paraquat. They divided rats into three groups and measured white blood cell count, oxygen levels, and a lung protein called SP-D. The results showed that ambroxol hydrochloride reduced inflammation, improved oxygen levels, and increased SP-D levels in the lungs, protecting the rats from paraquat poisoning.
