A new cloud manufacturing platform has been developed to improve resource efficiency in additive manufacturing services. This platform uses advanced technologies to match users with the best manufacturing solutions, optimize resource distribution, and provide decision-making support. A simulated case study showed that this platform can lead to both technical and economic benefits for improving industrial resource efficiency.
