A new small absorption chiller system was developed using a mixing-type absorber to improve efficiency and save space. The absorber includes an ejector and cooler with a special LiBr solution. Tests showed that the system works well and is compact. By using two of these absorbers in series, the chiller's efficiency improved by 15% compared to a traditional one, and the absorber size was reduced by half.
