Paper Summary

Continuous cultivation without enough fertilizer leads to poor wheat yield in Tigray, Ethiopia. A study tested mineral fertilizer, farmyard manure, and compost on wheat and soil. Different treatments were applied, and results showed that combining half the recommended mineral fertilizer with 10 or 5 tons of farmyard manure increased wheat yield by 185% and 170% compared to no fertilizer.
