New solar panel algorithm boosts efficiency without current sensors.
A new method for tracking the most power from solar panels has been developed. This technique doesn't need to measure the current flowing through the panels. Instead, it uses small changes in frequency to figure out the best power output. By taking advantage of how solar panels work, this method can quickly find the best power level, even when some parts of the panel are shaded. Both computer simulations and real-world tests have shown that this new method works well.
