The goal of the study was to find a better way to manage water for growing peppers in Egypt. The researchers tested different tools to see which one saved the most water and produced the best pepper yield. They found that using the IRRIMET model saved the most water, while the Expert system also did well. The Cropwat model didn't work as effectively. Overall, the IRRIMET model gave the highest pepper yield and water productivity, especially with subsurface drip irrigation.
