New herbicide combo boosts Japanese mint yield and profits for farmers!
A study was done to see how different weed-killing chemicals affect Japanese mint and weeds in the field. They tested 10 treatments on the plants, including different herbicides and weed-free conditions. The best results came from using one herbicide before the plants grew and another after they sprouted. This method controlled weeds the best and gave the highest profit for farmers. Another herbicide worked well on broad-leaf weeds but hurt the mint. Overall, using a specific combination of herbicides was the most effective and profitable way to manage weeds in Japanese mint fields.
