Restoring river borders in swamps improves water quality sustainably
The study evaluated water quality in a swamp by using the Water Quality Index. They looked at how restoring vegetation along the river border affected water quality over time. Before restoration, the water quality was better, but after the third year of restoration, it improved. However, a fire in the fourth year caused a decline in water quality. Overall, restoring vegetation along the river border helped improve water quality in the swamp sustainably.
