New study reveals key factors for successful information system projects!
The article explores how people involved in information system projects define success. They surveyed project managers, team members, and end-users to understand what factors they consider important for project success. They found that key measures of success include project scope, schedule, costs, quality of management, system quality, user satisfaction, and more. The study suggests a five-step method to gather stakeholder perspectives on project success. The results can help project managers better understand what stakeholders value in information system projects. The study was limited to government units in Poland, so more research is needed to confirm these findings in other organizations.
