Late sown chickpea grows better with reduced tillage and sequential herbicide application. This method results in higher pod number, seed yield, protein yield, and nutrient uptake compared to conventional tillage. Weed management with pendimethalin followed by imezethapyr reduces weed density and dry weight, leading to higher seed yield. Reduced tillage also helps in controlling weed growth. Overall, using pendimethalin followed by imezethapyr gives the best weed control efficiency.
